Story:
An endless war with the Mechanicals overshadows the imminent supernova of a nearby star. Ignoring this fact just as the Interplanetary Council has, Commander Jeffers tries to raise the morale of his tired soldiers to get them to hold out and push through just a little longer. His wife tries to convince him of the impending danger but he will not listen. Instead he distracts himself with the war efforts at the risk of losing his loved ones’ confidence.
lyrics
Lyrics:
The rebels keep coming - they try
They’re fighting without god’s soul inside - with lifeless eyes
With everything this war has taken from us
My soldiers look at me with broken trust like they’ve already lost - i scream
The sun is not the end oh no
This war will kill us before then
If we don’t make a stand right now my friends oh no
Take pride don’t lose yourself yet, just hang on
The pain will not stop me again
I must keep fighting them until - this rebellion is dead
With everything I’ve killed and lost
She can’t understand why i can’t run away - i whisper
The sun is not the end oh no
This war will kill us before then
If I don’t make a stand right now we’re dead my love
Take pride don’t lose yourself yet, just hang on
Wait for me, my love, please, i can’t stop this now
Don’t turn away, I’m so close, our child will be safe, just hang on
Because
The sun is not the end oh no
This war will kill us before then
If we don’t make a stand right now my friends oh no
Take pride don’t lose yourself yet, just hang on
