about

Story:
Commander Jeffers is injured, which makes it impossible for him to continue fighting. He waits impatiently as the hyperchamber performs the slow recovery of his body. Until now, he felt as if he was following the path of the righteous. But as he learns more of the now inevitable supernova, he begins to question if all his actions in the war with the Mechanicals were pointless. Stuck in the recovery unit, he begins to feel disconnected and distrustful of those around him - his doctors, his commanders, and even his wife, who seems to become more and more paranoid each day, whispering rumors of conspiracy that the supernova is a lie created by the government. He starts to suspect she is being brainwashed by the Mechanicals. Even though he has not fully healed, he decides to break out of the recovery unit to protect his small daughter, Nara. He narrowly rescues her just before his wife is abducted by Mechanicals.

lyrics

Lyrics:
Mechanized enemy - they’ve grown stronger than I’d ever believe
Hysteria, empire collapsing, I send mine all to fight for nothing

You can take away the final scar of my faith
In this God forsaken place you tear apart the human race
And I must rise up but I can’t save my love
In the end the stars will send us all to hell

Take my child, she is not well, she can’t grow up, in this hell,
My love is a traitor, brainwashed, insane,
And I’m the only one to blame

You can take away the final scar of my faith
In this God forsaken place you tear apart the human race
And I must rise up but I can’t save my love
In the end the stars will send us all to hell

Science was right, stars die just like us
The death of a giant, this all turns to dust

Give us another world give us another time
No one ever listened when we saw the signs
Take me to another world, send us to another time
We were never able to stop this, we all were blind

You can take away the final scar of my faith
In this God forsaken place you tear apart the human race
And I must rise up but I can’t save my love
In the end the stars will send us all to hell
