lyrics
Lyrics:
Have we become mechanized?
Are we the only two survived?
Have I become something I hate? Did my soul die?
Don’t be afraid my little one it’s alright
She said...
Pray hard for the dead star
Pray his soul has ascended up into God’s land
Her eyes were bright like explosions in the sky
And she smiled as I took her metal hand
We walked out into a barren station
We couldn’t feel the radiation
Enemies were dead the light had shut them all down
But all our comrades lay lifeless on the ground
She said…
Pray hard for the dead star
Pray his soul has ascended up into God’s land
Her eyes were bright like explosions in the sky
And she smiled as I took her metal hand
We wandered through the ruined world
Looking for any signs of life
Though the eyes of my little girl
Made it hard to forget my love, my wife
Suddenly, a figure on the horizon
I pushed my little one behind
She took my hand and she said “Daddy it’s alright”
My love was standing there before us, mechanized
She said…
Pray hard for the dead star
Pray his soul has ascended up into God’s land
Her eyes were bright like explosions in the sky
And she smiled as I took her metal hand
